The Bastard Executioner.
The FX drama series
has been cancelled and wouldn’t be renewed for a season 2. The creator and
showrunner Kurt Sutter went forward to acknowledge The Bastard Executioner
Family and made clear the ratings weren’t strong enough to justify a renewal.
“The numbers just didn’t sustain the cost of the show, quite frankly,”
Sutter said. “It’s all math at the end of the day. We couldn’t establish that
core audience that allows you to figure out your advertising paradigm and
whether or not the show is affordable.”
The series
is about Wilkin Brattle who is
betrayed by Baron. He lays down his sword and follows a path of different man.
Violence and oppression from the man who betrayed him leads him to assume
identity of a journey man punisher: executioner.
Wicked city.
The ABC TV Series was yanked after only airing 3 episodes of season 1 and Shark
Tank will air instead. The series first premiered on October 27, 2015.
The Series
first season was about two LAPD detectives that search for a pair of
romantically-linked serial killers terorrizing Sunset Strip.
The Series
was pulled off due to poor ratings as it didn’t have an audience. The ratings
fell to a 0.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 1.7 million viewers.
The Brink.
The comedy series starring Jack Black and Tim Robbins has been cancelled
despite HBO renewing The Brink for a
second season. HBO announced the series renewal while still season 1 was at its
halfway during July.
HBO

and our programming needs, we unfortunately decide we cannot give The Brink the
attention it deserves for a second season. We are proud of the first season and
wish everyone involved in this show the very best.”
